Later Mrs. Li hosts a dinner party where her friends complement her on her youthful appearance. Suddenly there is a horrible fish like smell realizing it is coming from her, Mrs. Li excuses herself and runs to the bathroom. Confused and angry Mrs. Li calls Aunt Mei wanting to know what exactly she ate. Aunt Mei tells her that the fetus is of an incestuous nature is the most potent.
Disgusted, Mrs. Li hangs up. Then in a flash-forward we discover Mrs. Li is two months pregnant, she searches fro Aunt Mei but Aunt Mei has left.
