The fifth episode of Blade the Animated Series premiered on G4 TV February 10, 2012.

Episode Synopsis:

Lucius Isaac, a pureblood vampire, visits Deacon Frost with a warning, that if Frost's organization continues to expand, the nobles will be forced to act.

We see some pretty similar chat as we did in the initial Blade movie where Frost talks about how vampires should not be hiding from humans. Frost tells Lucius that he has created something called "The Golden Blood". It makes him the strongest turned vampire in the world.

Blade, Makoto and Razor track Frost to an island and prepare to enter their base as they are attacked by inhabitants of the island who also are vampire hunters. They form a group and invade the base.

Blade has a brief battle with Frost before the vampire flees in a helicopter.

Blade and the band of vampire hunters take down a giant flying vampire monster that splits in two.

The episode ends with Blade vowing to track Frost wherever he goes.

Sinking our teeth into it…..

This was a much better episode compared to the last few. The action was there and we got to see Blade battle it out with Frost once again.

It was cool to see friction between Frost and his upstart "Existance" and the purebloods.

Here's hoping that the next episode keeps pace.
