Meat
The episode begins with the rest of our gang coming out to the farm house to check on Carl and get back together. A memorial service for the fallen Otis is held. Everyone attends including Shane still having visions of the horror of events from the night before when he sacrificed Otis to save himself and Carl. Shane seems to be truly struggling with who he is and I just hope he chooses good Shane. The group tries to really get an organized search for Sophia going. Hershel prohibits guns on his property with the exception of Rick, Shane, and Daryl with his cross bow. I understand being polite at other folks homes but with walkers hanging out everywhere you aren’t taking my gun! He also lets Rick know that they are only welcome until the find Sophia and Carl can travel again. With not much but talking going on Daryl decides to take off to look for Sophia alone. The group needed more medicine so Maggie decides to go on horseback to the local pharmacy for supplies and Glen chooses to accompany her. Before they can set out there is a walker discovered in one of the farm’s wells by Dale and T-Dog. Glen is volunteered to be lowered into the well to get a rope around the stuck walker so he can be pulled out and the well can be saved. It seems to me Glen keeps getting all the crappy jobs. Why not Andrea if she is so pissed all the time it might even man her up a bit if she really has to taste death! After quiet a scare and almost falling Glen successfully ropes the walker. Is there anything Glen can’t do? The group pulls the walker halfway out and his midsection explodes apart and his bottom section is dropped back into the water. Glen and Maggie are finally able to head out and be alone in the pharmacy where YES our little Glen gets him some cowgirl!! I guess that answers that. As Rick begins to see his group including himself are all slipping into hopelessness and really staring to loose faith he has a heart to heart with Hershel. Begging him to at least reconsider letting them stay and Hershel reluctantly agrees to consider it only. Andrea and Shane have another deep conversation yet again making us wonder who is going to end up with her and maybe get her to stop being so whiney and bitchy. When Daryl returns form his search for Sophia he reaches out to Carol by giving her a Cherokee rose and tells her that this rose has bloomed for her little girl! This renews Carol’s hope for her lost child. Lori sneaks outside to take a pregnancy test she had Glen get for her at the pharmacy in secret. It’s positive of course! So, who is the father Rick her husband back from the dead or Shane his best friend and the man who took his place during his absence? This little surprise is no doubt going to create way more trouble than joy.

Walkers
There weren’t any walkers in this episode with the exception of fatty in the well. He was really fat with lumps or tumors or whatever they were all over him. He didn’t even resemble a human. Then the climax of him being pulled out from the well and getting stuck…then “Splosh” blood and guts everywhere! Yum!

My Flesh
In the world they live in I think Lori should keep her mouth shut about her pregnancy and ask the local Vet, Hershel to take care of it…Even without the drama it’ll cause how the hell will she be able take care of her son let alone herself pregnant?! I’m happy for Glen his character is becoming meatier! I hope they either find Sophia in next week’s episode or move on. Where are they going to all end up? Who will Andrea hook up with? What would you do in Lori’s situation?
